Dear Jack Frost,

thank you for how amazing you made Europe look this week. The ugliest and greyest cities, landscapes and panoramas turn into something beautiful when they’re gracefully covered with a blanket of white sparkling snow.

Thank you also on behalf of all the winter sport adepts who can exercise their favourite sports with great loads of snow. Others might think you are about to exaggerate a bit. We are prepared: we ordered another load of hoodies and sweatshirts to print them according to our customer’s wishes.

And we have a load of designs to celebrate your coming. A lot is in store for the winter sport aficionados: those who ride the powder with snowboards, those who prefer going downhill with skis. Those who love your little falling dancing snowflakes and for those who are in it for the reward after winter sport (called Après Ski).

Anyway, as long as you back up again for the little flowers to bloom and blossom in some months, we really enjoy your presence.

It’s that time of year again: Christmas decoration is slowly sneaking in to the shops. The weather turns from lovely to colder to shitty to completely and utterly shitty and then to great winter weather. Hopefully.

We have already seen the first snowflakes of the year in Berlin (which didn’t help much). And christmas romance largely consists of snow-covered woods and reindeer. So we decided to put some more snow and winter T-shirts up front in our design range. For example the nice snowflakes T-Shirt that glows in the dark (well, the flakes do, not the shirt!). Let it snow, let it snow…

By the way: what is the best thing you can do with snow? Of course: ride it. That’s why we also added plenty of new winter sport T-shirts. The ski season is opened here. Everybody should know this image above: a clever represenation of how the evolving of man progressed over time. Thanks to schoolbooks it has become famous and iconic (at least as long such images can still stay there) - and thus a welcome subject of parodies and mock-ups.

That’s why at Shirtcity we have not only one but several versions of the evolution T-shirt: the beliefs of where evolution goes differ a lot. What is creation’s crowning glory? Is it that snowboarder that has evolved from walking to flying on a board as the snowboard evolution shirt shows?
